Louisiana Piano Series International
Sponsored by Northwestern State University, the Louisiana Piano Series International (LPSI) was established in May 2002 in Natchitoches, Louisiana – the oldest city in the state – by its founder and former director and faculty member at Northwestern State, Dr. Nikita Fitenko.
The mission of this series is to bring internationally acclaimed pianists to Natchitoches. We believe that this series will prove beneficial and inspiring to the students at Northwestern State as well as enhance the Natchitoches community with significant cultural events.
Each season will present four concerts by internationally renowned pianists. All concerts will take place in Magale Recital Hall located on the Northwestern State campus. Public masterclasses will be scheduled for selected Northwestern State piano students as part of their visit to our campus.
Please join us for a season of extraordinary musical experiences!
