Watson Memorial Library will host the Fall 2023 Living Library session on “Women Preserving Natchitoches:  Genealogy, Faith, History and Heritage.” The panel discussion will take place from 10 a.m.-noon Tuesday, Nov. 14 in the Ora G. Williams Media Center (NSU-TV Studio), Room 142 Kyser Hall.

The event is free and open to the public. Classes are welcome.

This is the seventh installment of Watson’s Living Library: Everyone Has A Story series.  The Living Library concept encourages individuals to share their experiences so that listeners get a first-hand account of what the person saw or lived through. The panels are recorded and become part of the collection at Watson Library that researchers can use to supplement books, journals and other traditional resources for research.

Panelists for Women Preserving Natchitoches” will be Dr. Kass Byrd, Gail Metoyer Jones, Dr. Julie Kane and Dr. Vicki Parrish.
