NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Natchitoches and Shreveport campuses earned designation as Wellspots, a distinction promoted by the Well-Ahead Louisiana program. Well-Ahead Louisiana, an arm of the Louisiana Department of Health, focuses on promoting healthy choices and resources to better the communities and lives of Louisiana residents. NSU was designated as a Level 2 Wellspot last October, thanks to the efforts of Health Services Director Jessica Nash, former director Carla Walker and Tiffany Rogers, student health coordinator on NSU’s Shreveport campus.
