NATCHITOCHES – The Northwestern State University choirs will present a preview concert on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public. A livestream will be available at capa.nsula.edu/livestream.
Director of Choral Activities Dr. Nicholaus Cummins said the concert will feature the Northwestern Chamber Choir, Lyrica and Men’s Chorus. Each choir will be singing three selections being prepared for their own upcoming concerts. The concert will be around 30 minutes to preview the entire semester’s worth of repertoire from each choir.
This will be the first concert with new Associate Director of Choral Activities Adam Philley, who conducts and teaches Lyrica and Cane River Singers.
