NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s School of Business will host a virtual CLE event for attorneys who need continuing legal education credits. The CLE event will be Thursday, April 21 and will include two speakers in a WebEx format. Participants can earn two credit hours, including one for ethics. The cost of the entire event is $75. The cost for a single credit hour is $45. All proceeds will be benefit the NSU School of Business Director’s Fund.
A session on data privacy and cyber security will take place from 9-10 a.m. with guest speaker Jeremy D. Rucker of Spender Fane, LLP, of Plano, Texas, as guest speaker. An hour on ethics will be from 10:10-11:10 a.m. led by Mary Beth Fair, assistant professor in NSU’s School of Business.
NSU will provide a WebEx link to the CLE once participants are registered. Individuals are required to provide their Bar Roll for attendance record purposes.
