NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s counseling program will host a free three-hour play therapy training that will also include current counseling issues in working with children and adolescents. Those in attendance will receive three continuing education hours, but the entire training must be attended in order to receive credit. Funds for the training are provided by the Melba Law Steeg Endowed Professorship.
The WebEx training meeting will take place from 5-8 p.m. Monday, April 18 with Dr. Kristy Brumfield as presenter. Registration deadline is noon Friday, April 15.
