PowerPoint Recording

Would you like an easy (and free) tool to make your lecture presentations more engaging to your students? PowerPoint is now equipped with valuable tools to record lectures, and add video and interactive content, such as quiz questions or web sites, to any presentation. In this workshop, you will learn how to record using PowerPoint.
Introduction to OneDrive

OneDrive is the cloud storage that connects to your computer and your other office applications, allowing you to easily work on any file on any computer or tablet. You can share files quickly, and co-author files with others. In this workshop, you will see how to access your OneDrive, organize your files, and share files with others. You will see how OneDrive connects to your workflow in Word, PowerPoint and more!
Managing Gradebook, Mid-Term Edition

We have reached the middle of the semester and you need your gradebook ready for your 10-week grades to be posted. Learn how to make sure your gradebook is calculating your 10-week grades correctly and be able to export a copy when your grades are finished.
Rubrics
Wednesday, October 9th, 10 – 11 am
If you have ever struggled with the details of how to grade an assignment, this workshop is for you. We will discuss how to create a rubric that will help students understand the assignment, while also making grading easier for you. Bring a rubric or assignment to this workshop and you will receive feedback that you can apply immediately to improve your course.
Adobe Acrobat Fundamentals
Thursday, October 10th, 2 – 3 pm
PDF files are very common, and Adobe Acrobat is the program most commonly used to process these files. In this workshop, you will learn basic navigation, tools, and accessibility features within Adobe Acrobat.
Communicating in Moodle
Tuesday, October 15th, 10 – 11 am
In this workshop, you will learn how to use various forms of communication (forums, announcements, and QuickMail) and when to use them. This will help you incorporate student interaction within your courses.
PowerPoint Fundamentals

PowerPoint has been an ever-present element in education and has grown into a valuable tool for engaging students. Learn how to design your presentations, add audio and animation, and more. This class will revolve around what the attendees want to see, so bring your questions and ideas!
Sharing Content in Moodle
Thursday, October 24th, 10 – 11 am
In this workshop, we will demonstrate how to link and share videos and files stored in VIC, Stream, and OneDrive to your Moodle Courses. We will show you how to share content effectively and efficiently in your courses.
Webex Personal Room
Tuesday, October 29th, 10 – 11 am
Your WebEx Personal Room is a valuable tool for engaging with online students. In this workshop, you will learn how to open and run your personal room either as a one-on-one meeting option as well as an open office for online classes. You will also be introduced to some unique features of the room that are different from the standard training sessions.
Moodle to the Max

Want to take your online class to the next level? Join us as we provide tips and tricks that will enhance your Moodle experience. Go beyond the basics of what you know about Moodle. From reporting to media enhancements to specific tools to manage your class efficiently, this course is all about the options that will make you a better online instructor.

To register for courses via WebEx:
- Go to nsula.webex.com and sign in.
- Click on the Webex Training menu item on the bottom left of the page.
- In the left-hand menu, beneath Attend a Session, click List of Sessions.
- Click the Upcoming tab to see a list of the sessions with the date and times, click Register next to the one you would like to attend.
- Complete the registration.
You will receive an email confirmation after you have registered with the link you will use to join the session. To cancel your registration, click the link at the bottom of the registration email.
