Outstanding faculty from each college at Northwestern State University were recognized with Excellence in Teaching Awards during the school’s annual Fall Faculty Institute.  From left are Dr. Keith Dromm, professor of philosophy and Study Away director in the Louisiana Scholars’ College; Dr. Melissa Aldredge, instructor in the College of Business and Technology;  Dr. Malena McLaren, associate professor and coordinator of the Music Department in the College of Arts and Sciences;  Dr. Michelle Fazio Brunson, professor of early childhood education in the Gallaspy Family College of Education and Human Development, and Patty Akins, assistant professor in the College of Nursing and School of Allied Health.
