NATCHITOCHES – The NSU Percussion Ensemble will perform on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public. Ken Green and Oliver Molina direct the ensemble.
The concert will include two premieres of student compositions, “Storm Cycles” by Steven Wimberley, a senior music major from Pineville and “Sextet” by Andrew Boyd, a senior music education major from Frisco, Texas.
The group will also perform “DisArchitecture” by Dave Hall, “Verspertine Formations” by Christopher Deane, “Waiting to Exhale” by Peter Naughton, “Crown of Thorns” by David Maslanka and“Ojo” by Joe Moore.
