February Tech Toolbox: Clean out your Moodle question banks!
Recently, faculty have been receiving errors when copying Moodle course content because of issues related to the course question banks. The most common error is that a duplicate of a question exists in a question bank. Our current version of Moodle does not allow a course to be moved if there are duplicate questions in the question bank. Faculty may be carrying over questions from a previous version of a book that is no longer in use. Some of the questions may be years old and over time some of the questions may become corrupted. If you have these issues, it may be time to consider cleaning your question bank. In this Tech Toolbox, we will show you how to effectively clean your categories and questions so that your course will run more smoothly.
