How are you showing your students that you are a real person who is interested in your content and in their progress? Elements of your “instructor presence” may or may not all show up within a Quality Matters (course design) review. Some methods of instructor interaction will be evident as part of course delivery. In this issue, we will review some ways to ensure that you show your students that you are a real person with an interest in your subject matter. This can greatly enhance your students’ sense of connection with you and improve their experience of the course.
