NATCHITOCHES – The NSUmmer Percussion Ensemble will present a concert on Monday, August 28 at 7:30 PM in Magale Recital Hall. The concert is in preparation for a recruiting tour in southeast Louisiana on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. The group will be performing at Central Lafourche, Thibodaux, Walker and Zachary high schools and LSU. There will be four pieces on the program by composers Jlin, Ben Robichaux, Ivan Treviño and Andrea Venet.
Students in the ensemble are Klaire Thomas of Neosho, Missouri, Jack Overby of Joplin, Missouri, Miguel Bustillo of San Pedro Sula, Honduras, Caleb Daniels of Shreveport, Jackson Forester of Garland, Texas, Hunter Brown of Raceland, Dominique Lousteau of Luling and Harmony Marsh of Bogata, Texas.
