This factory produced the caskets required for the Winnfield Funeral Home. Ben Johnson learned how to build caskets from a White-owned company based out of Marshall, Texas.

I learned how to make caskets. I learned how to make ‘em and then we started a casket factory. And I operated a casket factory … for 35 years. Make any kind of casket we wanted to make.
